Concepto
Este proyecto pretende ahondar en los cánones de belleza afro que hoy en día se manifiestan en la cultura popular cubana. Más que una moda, trae consigo una carga histórica, de conciencia e identidad de lo negro, amén de diferir de los estereotipos occidentales no deja de tener un significado en pos de vindicar la belleza negra.
Lo llevamos rizo, pretende tomar el cabello Afro natural como pretexto para de-construir los cánones de bellezas establecidos y, desde la creatividad proponer una asimilación orgánica de su presencia en el imaginario social cubano.
La segunda edición de este evento pretende re-colocar y reivindicar este estilo en nuestro mapa cultural. Además de crear un balance entre los diferentes estilos, otorgándole el mismo valor estético.

This project aims to delve into the canons of Afro beauty that today are manifested in Cuban popular culture. More than a fashion, it brings with it a historical burden, of conscience and identity of the black, in addition to differing from Western stereotypes it does not stop having a meaning in order to vindicate the black beauty. We wear it curl, pretends to take natural Afro hair as a pretext to de-build the canons of established beauties and, from creativity propose an organic assimilation of its presence in the Cuban social imaginary. The second edition of this event aims to re-position and claim this style in our cultural map. In addition to creating a balance between the different styles, giving it the same aesthetic value.
